Shani is the founder and CEO of Cafe Be'Ivrit. She completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology from The Open University and subsequently in Special Education from The Kibbutzim College of Education In Israel.

 

In addition to her educational background, Shani has over 20 years of experience in teaching modern Hebrew to students both in a classroom setting and  one-on-one.  She has used her custom Hebrew language programs and curricula in schools both in New York and the San Francisco Bay Area.

 

Shani's professional career includes interacting with an array of students; learning disabilities, native speakers and Hebrew as a second language.

 

After several years in the school system, Shani decided to combine all of her teaching techniques into one program, Cafe Be'Ivrit.

 

In her personal life, Shani also enjoys pilates, hiking, music, movies, traveling, and spending time with her family.
